My name is Peter Gong.  I’ve been in comic book retail for thirty plus years.  I’ve been an avid comic book collector for even more years.  But I emphasize the point of reading rather than collecting, and like to refer to myself as “comic-sama.”

My personal tastes vary from the esoteric to the popular.  Recommended favorites are Walking Dead, Strangers in Paradise, Usagi Yojimbo, Ultimate Spiderman, Fables, and tons of others.

I’m also a serious anime and manga fan, going back to the ’70s classic stuff to some current series and movies.  I also love all genre films in general.

My store is friendly and laid back, offering a welcome mat to all who embrace all facets of fandom.  Phoenix Comics & Collectibles of Long Island is a haven for the genre connoisseur!
